The Rare Books & Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room on Level 1 of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (IKBLC) will be temporarily relocated to IKBLC 142 beginning May 9th, 2022, due to construction for an upgrade project.

To prepare for this relocation, the Rare Books & Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room (IKBLC 110) will be closed to the public on May 5 and May 6th and will reopen on Monday, May 9th. University Archives’ staff have already been relocated to Level 2 of IKBLC, but can still be reached by phone and e-mail and in-person consultations can still be arranged.

Also, before visiting please contact us, as some of our collections will be inaccessible until early 2023, due in part to this project.

See below for location of satellite Reading Room to open May 9th.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause to researchers and other visitors.
